Estimated time to complete stabilization and video noise reduction
is 3 hours and 28 minutes with CUDA enabled on GTX 260. This same
video clip would take 44 hours to render for noise reduction (no
deshake filter) on adobe after effects CS4.
(emphasis mine)
That makes me wonder: On your system, what is the time to complete stabilization and video noise reduction in PowerDirector WITHOUT using CUDA?
Comparing render times between PowerDirector with CUDA and Adobe After Effects without CUDA (bearing in mind that they are completely different programs with completely different plugins, using completely different algorithms, likely giving completely different results) isn't as clear as comparing "Power Director With CUDA" to "Power Directory Without CUDA" (while still bearing in mind that the CUDA-accelerated effects may not be the same algorithm or results as the CPU-based effects, but that's just being nit-picky).
