My Hollywood Plus/Pro 4.5 IS on a shipped disk and it came with manual with the serial number on the front.
Unfortunately I allowed windows to update to SP3 when I reformatted the C drive recently, however S10 with SP3 and HFX seemed to coexist ok prior to the reformat. However latterly I wasn’t able to use voice over for some reason I couldn’t solve it, yet it is working now with SP3
The ATI Radeon 9600 is a DX9 card.
You mentioned possible errors with WM player in a previous post. I rendered a short clip to AVI yesterday and whilst in the Make Movie window clicked on the wmp icon to check it out. The WM player loaded, and a pop up said…’In order to do what I was asking I would have to insert the S12 disk in my drive'. Whatever information was taken from the disk or whether it modified S12 or WMP11 I’ve no idea but the clip played perfectly.
Added 21:7:09 I have a Studio De Luxe capture card fitted which I find very useful. I forgot to mention it with the the other hardware items and wondered if it was compatable with Studio 12 or could it cause problems? It works fine with Studio 10 Plus, and hopefully will do so with 12.
I did a search and couldn't find any evidence of problems.
