I have tried it on a computer that currently has Windows XP as it's OS. It works fine there. Unfortunately, for my uses with the DVD recorder, I need to use this laptop, which has Windows Vista on it.

 After a bit of research, I've found someone who had a similar problem to mine. What actually happened is that for whatever reason the discs made his disc drive completely screwed up and his computer would not register ANY DVD/CD's, not just the three that came with his DVD Recorder. He said that he actually had to restore his computer for the installation to work.

I just tried putting in a PC game to see if that would load up. But, turns out that it would not be recognised. My computer said that the disc drive was empty.

 I am currently in the process of saving all my important files to a USB key so I can restore my computer. Hopefully there's a fix for this that you could point me towards that would bypass this whole thing, but maybe not.
