Yup that's what that feature's for.

Yet in every fight I have had with the powers to be on the subject, not a single serious sensible motivation was ever put forward as to why the default state of that option is STILL not "ticked" as logic would dictate.............................. I have battled this stupid "option" from the first time I laid my grubby little paws on the 700/710 ........................ I have had the option permanently "ticked" ever since and have yet to encounter ANY analogue source causing a supposed "problem" capture (and believe me I see a horde of different and ranging cams/vcrs as I am a camcorder repair guy) ...............................yet I continue to see numerous users complaining about the OP's problem
