I have tried to download and install the patch

Tried both the direct install and the download manager

after the download is through and well into the install a window comes up:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.

Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package ‘Pinnacle Studio 12.msi’ in the box below."

and it gives me the option to browse. I don't browse! I don't know what I would look for! when I cancel I, of course, get:

  “Error 1706 No valid path could be found for product Pinnacle studio 12. The windows installer could not continue.  Click OK

 Then the install rolls back and nothing is installed.

My computer is up to date with Microsoft and I floss often..

now what!?!?
