You've mentioned that you tried updating the studio 11 patch and your display adapter, but have you tried updating the driver of the DVC 100. If not, you can download it on this link. 

You've also mentioned something about getting an error "A Valid Input Signal has not been detected.....". Pinnacle has an online documentation that you can  check on this link regarding that error.
