Re: Son of Show your Liquid Stuff...

I have uploaded 4 new underwater videos, which may be of interest to some.  I filmed these in Egypt about 2 months ago and have trickled them online over the last few days.  I counteracted the blue cast associated with filming underwater with a red filter and using liquid's on board colour correction tools. I had to split it up over 4 videos because of upload speeds here.  Well there you go!

For SD upload I use H.264 @4000Kbps.  640x360  And an aac audio codec at 256Kbps

For HDV uploads I Use H.264 @5000Kbps.  Leaving the Frame Size as "Same As Source".  And same as above for the audio

Re: Son of Show your Liquid Stuff...

THanks Mike! I actually use a fish eye lens on my camera but there's one part of the video on the first drummer shot, it was shot with a fish eye lens but I also used a "cylinder" effect within AL7.

Re: Son of Show your Liquid Stuff...

    Hi Tony P,

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. It took me about 12 hours of editing all in all... there's a lot of footage that I have to sort out,

these are the collection of years from the event. The composition of the whole promo took alot of time but it's all worth it.

Re: Son of Show your Liquid Stuff...

Here's a web promo for an upcoming boat poker run. I made this over two evenings. I'm surprised at how everytime I start a little project like this, I learn something new in Liquid. I've owned Liquid for several years but have only completed probably less than a dozen projects with it. I used to be a Studio editor starting way back with the Studio AVDV package (can't remember which version that was) and ended up with Liquid 7.

tell me what you think, I'm still learning and honing my skills...

    Lew,

How did you make those early transitions where the pictures sortof went bright and flashy like light rays?

Re: Son of Show your Liquid Stuff...

    ProDAD Vitascene effects.

Re: Son of Show your Liquid Stuff...

Lews, are prodad effects imported into liquid? Or are they applied by exporting part of the timeline, then inport to prodad. I see on prodad website they have a version for studio can that be use IN liquid? By the way nice video.

Re: Son of Show your Liquid Stuff...

    Mike,

Vitascene is a plugin that works from within the Liquid timeline.

Re: Son of Show your Liquid Stuff...

Correct. Vitascene is applied like any other effect. When installed within Liquid there are Vitascene clip and transition effects added to the Liquid effects library. Many of them preview in realtime. There are trial versions of all the ProDAD products you can download and play with. Vitascene has some very impressive effects. The ones used on the open for this video were the Intense Light Wave Sweep Dissolve #400 transition between shots and the Sparkles #131 clip effect on some of the shots.
