The 2D-3D Flip GPU effect will only flip vertically now for some reason...I cannot get it to flip horizontally.  I know I did something but haven't a clue what.  Both Default and No Preset do the same thing.  Has anyone encountered this before?  I am using PS26u on windows 11

 

 

Yes, I think it's broken, but it's easy to achieve the same result with Properties/Swivel/180 degrees

I agree it's broken - the "No Preset" choice does nothing. In prior versions (I tried with PS23) it flipped horizontally; the "Default" choice flips vertically

But in all versions those names for the two presets are meaningless - should be something like "Flip Horizontally" and "Flip Vertically"

But as Jeff says, the Swivel setting in Properties is a quick and easy alternative

Is it broken on my machine only, or for everyone?  Thanks for the tip….I will test it out tomorrow.  Meanwhile, I hope someone from PS is watching these posts and can provide guidance, or a good effect file I can obtain and paste in.

fstetson, two people already confirmed it's also broken on their setup. I have the same problem, so it certainly is a PS software problem.

For Flip Horizontal you can use Tilt, so Flip is pretty redundant - probably why it hasn't been fixed (perhaps they should remove it?). If you want to implement the Flip as a true effect, rather then a a property (they have slightly different workflows) then Swivel and Tilt are also available in 3D Editor GPU,
