On a HDD, I have, for example, a couple hundred music tracks all listed in alphabetical order. When I need to import a particular track, and use the "Import" tab, it seems that the tracks (as presented by Studio) are listed not in alphabetical order but in their date creation order which is not particularly helpful. Is it possible to alphabetise the tracks as presented by Studio Import?

IN the Library you can change the sort order either by right clicking on the library background and using Sort By from the context menu, or by using the two-arrow icon in the header. By default, it's normally Name, which gives to an alphabetical listing.

It's not the library list but the media list on Import. See the attachment on the Right Hand Side. All of these items are in alphabetical order in the drive from which they are derived.

In the importer, by design, assets can't be sorted.

So why don't you import them all into the Library using the Link option? Then you can sort them.

I guess you know you could also use the Quick Import function (folder with down arrow) to select and import particular files from the alphabetical ordered list on the HDD to the currently selected project bin in PS21U.
