I recently purchased and started trying to use Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 22. Admittedly I'm a beginner so to speak because I had been using Studio's 8 through 15 and Studio 22 is a major upgrade and change for me. 

In Studio 22 when I have a video in the Project Bin then pull it onto the Timeline, the aspect ratio is different depending on whether I have the "Source" tab or the "Timeline" tab highlighted in the Preview Window 

In my case the Source tab shows the video in a 16:9 aspect ratio format  while in the Timeline tab the video is shown in a 4:3 aspect ratio. 

I know the 16;9 aspect ratio shown in the Source tab is correct because that is the way the video was shot..

I've looked at the User Guide, search the internet, looked at many You Tube videos and I cannot find where this difference is addressed

My question is "how do change the Timeline tab aspect ratio to show the same aspect ratio as the Source tab"?

To me it's such simple operating information that if a novice like me, someone unfamiliar with the latest versions of Studio or a total newcomer to the product could access, You wouldn't get such stupid questions like I just submitted.

Just to add to using the manual. Finding things is sometimes tricky but this one would have been found by a simple search in the PDF for "aspect". Which is my way of saying don't forget PDFs are searchable!
