Hi all,

Is it at all possible to still use a Dazzle DVC-90 with Pinnacle Studio to import audio/video from analog/composite sources?

I have some old media I want to import, but I don't think new Studio will recognize the device, much less can't find the drivers or any other info on this forum 

What operating system are you using? And is it 32 bit or 64 bit?

According to this driver download page there are no 64-bit drivers available for the DVC90. But if you are still using an older 32-bit operating system, you should still be able to use it with Pinnacle Studio.

When I first got Windows 7 it was a 64 bit machine, and I got caught out by DVC 90 not working.  I tried everything I could to make it work.  I have an old, but very good scanner from Epson, and it too failed because of the driver, but with a lot of searching I found that providing you over-ruled Windows, you could install a driver for a very similar scanner from Epson that worked perfectly.  So I tried this technique for all the Dazzle devices that were available at the time, but none of them would fall for this trick.

I gave up and bought a Dazzle DVD Recorder HD.
