Not seeing option to copy "corrections" -- to apply to another clip

Not seeing option to copy "corrections" -- to apply to another clip

On my timeline I've applied both White Balance and Stabilization to a clip.

I want to copy and apply those corrections to a different clip.

In the past I've right clicked on a corrected clip -- and seen the option to copy effects -- and I was then able to apply it against another clip.

Not sure what's wrong, but I am NOT seeing that copy EFX option -- has something been inadvertently turned off ?

What version of PS are you using?

Stablisation is a Correction, not an EFX (unless you are using the NB one) and white balance can be either and efx or a correction. Corrrections can't be copied and pasted in earlier versions of PS, and pasting a stablisation will require the clip to be re-analized.

So as Tony said, you need to say what version you are using.

Yes -- in 19.5 I was using WB and stabilization as a correction.

Is there a different way of using those efx that could be copied ?  Especially White Balance.

Do the more recent versions handle it differently ?  (I want to apply the same corrections to multiple clips)

Copy Corrections was added in PS21, but copy and paste of Stablise might result in an error as each clip requires seperate analysis for the correction to work  to stablisation data isn't relevant to another clip.

What about for WB -- is there a way to make that duplicatable in 19.5 ?

Yes, just use white balance as an effect, it's in colour/image correction GPU. When you use it as an effect you can copy and paste it.

The conceptual difference is that corrections are designed to be used on whole files in the library, and effects on individual clips. Unfortunately that's not how people used them, and instead of making that clearer to users, Corel just made corrections pastable. Eventually.
