Opened 3D Title presets list.

Clicked on Play button of one of the presets.

In Source window, the vertical playback line went from start to end but nothing appeared in the preview window.

Please tell me Why I can't see preview of 3D Title presets on my laptop having:-

PS Ultimate 23

Windows 10 Pro x64

Core i5 2.53 GHz, 6 GB RAM

Intel HD Graphics - Ironlake 

DirectX 12

There is nothing to play back. It's a static (stationary) title with no animation.

I can see the title in both Source and Timeline, and clicking on Play button, the cursor moves for the duration of the title.

When you say "preview window", which window?

Most probably, I don't have some hardware or software component. But I don't know exactly what thing I am missing.

Yes, the drivers are up to date.

 Does anybody know the solution, why I am not able to see preview of 3D Title Preset? 

Can you see other titles or is it just 3D.

Have you Reset the program.... Setup>Control Panel>Reset.

I doubt that a driver date of 26/11/2012 is up to date.

Not those driver numbers.... If the cpu is an i5 540M, it came out in 2010.  What generation that is, I have no idea. OP didn't give any real info on the CPU model.

But here is the webpage for Intel integrated graphics DRIVERS. On that page, the OP can automatically update the drivers.

 Control Panel --> Export & Preview --> Hardware Acceleration --> Type was None.

I pressed Auto-Detect button.

Type changed to AMD automatically.

Then, I pressed Apply & OK.

Then, I tried to see 3D Title Preset; but no changes in earlier behavior. I still can't see preview of 3D Title Preset in Source/Timeline.

I can't see preview of "3D Object" presets and "3D Title" presets; I can see preview of all other presets. 

I just tried Reset option but I was not able to see preview of 3D Title even after Reset.

I already installed Intel-Driver-and-Support-Assistant-Installer.exe & updated the drivers before posting the above post.

I changed Type of Hardware Acceleration to Intel; dragged & dropped a new 3D Title Preset to timeline; pressed Play button; but I still can't see actual 3D Title in rendered video.

The software and hardware configuration of your PC should allow you to have 3D Titles displayed correctly.

  • DirectX graphics device recommended:
  • NVIDIA GeForce 700 series / Quadro 600 (Fermi-based) or newer (CUDA-enabled required for CUDA support)
  • ATI Radeon HD 5XXX series or higher
  • Intel HD Graphics from Ivy Bridge or higher
  • 3D Titler requires DirectX 11

Good luck on changing your CPU into an Ivy Bridge..... your CPU was introduced in 2010 and is Westmere....

This is a requirement and his Intel HD Graphics fulfills it.

This is a recommandation mainly aimed to make sure that H.264 hardware decoding/encoding will be ok.

I have DirectX 12. Is it mandatory to have DirectX 11 for 3D Title? 

I don't know if it's actually mandatory.

You must know that DirectX versions are independant = DirectX12 doesn't include necessarily what is included in DirectX11.

Several versions of DirectX may co-exist on a PC.

I believe DX11 should have been installed when installing PS23. If not, or something went wrong, you can download it from Microsoft and install it.

Download it HERE. Once installed restart computer and then see if it works. Your graphics do support DX11.

I have been finding DirectX 11 on Microsoft website but I have not found yet! Still trying...
