Hi Maliek,

I see one issue with your tuto : if the user sets project's framerate in Setup, Control Panel, all the new projects will have this framerate. I'm sure most people will forget to change it. IMHO, a better method is to set "New movie project format" to "Detect format from 1st clip" and then customize project's framerate using the cog wheel icon top-left of timeline.

I guess it depends on the individuals ability to recall the change to the settings and what the individuals needs are. A person can also forget that they have "Detect format from 1st clip" selected and may not need that option when they add their first clip to the timeline. Say the individual is adding 60p or 120p footage to the timeline and he/she wants the project settings to be at 24p for slow motion. IMHO it is all relative my friend.

Silly forum question, when posting a link to a video, how do you make the link work within the post. I had this problem when I posted a video in a different thread and didn't know how to make the link work within the post. I didn't find a help me file on this either.

Once you write a message, highlight a part of it and select this button :

In the popup window, enter the URL in the "Link URL" field and click Insert :

Now, the highlighted text became an hyperlink.
