If you have active threads on the Avid forums and wish to continue the thread here, the easiest way is to:
- Create a new thread here of the same name and in the appropriate forum.
- Add a link to the original thread in the Avid forums.
- Copy-and-paste just the text of the starting post on the Avid forum to your new thread here. This replicates the starting post on the Pinnacle site.
- Submit the first post.
- Create a second post as a reply to the first post. Add to the Subject line something like " - Most recent from the Avid Forums"
- Copy-and-paste the most recent page of responses in the thread. When copying, start at the left-hand edge where it includes the username and include the post header (subject, etc.). Do not use CTRL-A to copy the entire page as this also includes all of the non-thread stuff at the top and bottom of the page. Left-click and drag to select only the responses.
- Submit this post.
This is probably the best way of maintaining continuity of a thread.
When done properly, it looks something like this (note: pressing any of the buttons simply takes you back to the message on the Pinnacle site, so the answer is "No, you cannot moderate the message even though the Moderate button is there.":

Re: Suggestions for mini DVD-R Media???
Ross, I
don't have any recommendations for those discs or I'd give them. A
good idea would be to post your question here in the General forum and
also over at the new Liquid forum on the Pinnacle site.

Suggestions for mini DVD-R Media???
I have a client who wants 50 mini DVD duplicates. What brand and what source would you recommend for purchasing mini DVD media?
Thanks,
Ross
