Some time ago I purchased Studio, but never really used it. I have now decided it is now time to put all my 8mm video onto disc. I am running 10.8 with the 500USB capture device.

I have loaded the software (downloaded from the Pinnacle site) onto a computer running the Vista OS. Capturing from my DV camera is no problem and everything captures correctly. The problem is with my older camcorder (Sony CCD-TRV24E). The picture in the preview screen is very "jittery" and distorted. (If I playback into the TV, the picture is normal).

 Anyone got any ideas what this might be caused by, and what I can do to correct it. I am running with the latest graphics drivers.
