    Layering in 12 Ultimate

How can I layer 2 or more videos to show at once? In other words transparent against each other. Only way I was able to so far is by using the Dissolve transition but that doesn't last long enough.

I saw a video on the web the guy layered multiple scenes and calls it Video Painting it looks very cool, sort of pop Andy Warhol effect.

Put one video on the main timeline, but the second on the overlay track. Apply the Stu Plus RTFX, Picture in Picture to the video on the overlay track. Set sizes and centering as desired and set transparency for the effect you wish. By using key frames, you can start and stop the disolve effect.

Remember also, you have a third video track (The title track) that you can overlay the same way with. To put video onto this tack you have to remove the audio from it first. Do this but first putting it onto a normal video tack, locking the video and cutting the audio, then you can drag the video down to the title track. This track has all of the same video tools available to it just like the normal and overlay tracks.
