It could be nice if I had the ability to save only part of created movie . Currently I must render whole movie and then after creating it cut using external tools.

This feature is included in Corel Video Studio Pro X2 and is very nice option.

Meanwhile, how about one of these two approaches?

• Delete everything you DON'T want, and then render.
  or
• Select what you DO want and then copy-and-paste to a new project, and then render

Be sure to SAVE your project BEFORE doing either of those two plans.

Yes, but wouldn't it be a convenience to simply click a button without having to re-render the auxiliary files or having to c&p? Nonetheless, Pinnacle will never include it, knowing them.

S12 allows users to set markers on the timeline.

From "markers-on-TL" to rendering of parts of TL between markers doesn't look like that great a step to me.

Would be a rather convenient workaround to bypass the limited number of tracks.

Further taking into account the posibilities of the Themes feature, I even tend to say that there might be less need for additional tracks than one would think at first sight.
