I recorded a program on my computer from the tvcenter pro

I would now like to burn it on a dvd.  The problem that I am running into is that the program is 3.5 hours long.  I am not too computer savy and I cannot figure out how to burn this onto multiple dvd's.  When i recorded this program i did it in the format that i could use the videospin, don't know if that matters.  I have Roxio Media Center, but i do not know if i need a different program.  I would like to not have to pay for anything, so free downloads would be a plus.  Please help I would like to get some of these programs off my cable dvr.  I would also like to know if there is a way to cut out the commercials.

If this has been posted already could someone guide me to post where i could read more about this.  And if this is the wrong forum, please tell me which one to go to.

    thanks

    anyone?, please

Use Video Spin to take out commercial and then output as a file again. AVI or MPEG-2. Video Spin does not burn to DVD.

If you have Roxio, see if it can burn AVI or MPEG-2 into a DVD movie format.

Otherwise, use the free version of Nero.

There are other software that you can download. See the Studio section for more info.
