    Pan and Zoom controls

I am using Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate. When putting together a slide show I can only zoom in or out. With other programs I was able to change the direction of the pan and zoom for each still picture or select random. I can't figure out a way to do so in Studio 12. It does this in Smartmovie on a random basis. Can anyone tell me how to do this individually?

    Thanks,

    Re: Pan and Zoom controls

You must select each still one at a time and apply the pan and zoom. You can select multiple slides, either adjacent or random and apply the effect to all of them at once. To select adjacent slides, click on the first in the sequence, hold down the shift key and click on the last one. All of the slides will be selected. To select random slides, hold down the control key and click on each slide you wish to select. Studio doesn't have a random function.

    Re: Pan and Zoom controls

Thanks for your quick response. What I need help on is controlling the pan and zoom after I get into it. With some programs, I have the ability to set the pan & zoom so it will start from top right, top left, bottom right or bottom left. Does Studio 12 have this feature?

    Thanks,

You can do this manually by checking "key frames". You can define the pan&zoom for every key frame and Studio will automatically move the video in between them.

    Re: Pan and Zoom controls

Studio 12 Plus has this feature and it's described in the manual.

In the Dutch version I have here it can be found on pages 156 to 159.
