    Strange filenames of captured clips

Some times ago one of our Chrome Xe refuses to capture.
As we have several systems all connected to SAN it wasn't so urgent problem.
Today I started to investigate the problem and appears that captured files have some extra in the names.
When I rename the file by removing "@rH9." from it, Chrome does see the material normally.

Sample name of captured video "00595703P 01003024P V0.@rH9.M2V"
    It should be: "00595703P 01003024P V0.M2V"
    What might cause the problem?
Windows XP Pro SP3 all updates.

The underlining is from forum sotware, not mine.

    Thanks ahead

Wow that is odd.  I have never seen that before on Xe.  Maybe Draske can offer some advice on this one.

You said you have a few systems?  This is the only one that does this?  If that is the case the only advice I can offer is to reinstall Liquid Xe first and then if that doesn't help start with a fresh copy of Windows and then Xe.  I assume this is with capturing HDV?

Re: Strange filenames of captured clips

We have captured SD via SDI from Sony J-3 and via firewire from Sony DSR-45 DVCam player recently.
THe first to I-frame MPEG-2 and second to DV *.avi.

Other systems do work OK. They share the same computer hardware and 90% the same software.

    Hi,

You just played around with the quality ranking. Leave them in "Normal"unless you really understand how that works. You don't change the quality at all; it stays the same, no matter which rank you apply.
