Nightmare!  After installing ver 12 Ultimate, transitions worked OK. Menues displayed in low resolution and sound came out of sync with video when rendered and memues would swap with a menu from another project anytime it was edited.  I have been working with tech support for two weeks and am convinced they are all morons.  No help. 

 Then out out the clear, all FX transitions quick working.  When viewing a preview of a transition, they just blink  (2-d and alpha magic transitions work fine). In a project, they are just ignored.  I have reinstalled version 12 twice per Pinnacle instructions and nothing works.  Does anyone have a clue.  It is evident that Pinnacle Support can not help.

I had the same problem.  I uninstalled 12 and reinstalled Studio 11 with the Bonus dvd and then installed 12.  I also purchased a new graphics card.  Now it works. The problem that I am having now is that some of the transitions are color distorted.  It could be the type of card I bought.

 I believe this was covered on the Declic site HERE a while ago in their Tips & Tricks section. 

 The utility you linked to is an exe file. Most people are going to be leary of running an unknown exe file from a site most US users haven't heard of. Additionally, it was posted in several other threads at around the same time.

I also found it somewhat difficult to navigate the site because of the language differences.

This is a site french but you can choice the english language clicking the british flag.

You are right it is a executable file, but it is really  zip file and you can choice the route for unzziped, doing this you can see that the solution  is change the next 2 archives:

OpenGL.dll and Portable.dll in the folder "engines" of your Hfx6, because the originals are wrong or have something bad an get the error of lecture of the transitions having tga format or mpeg.

I´ll try only to help whom that need the solution in the same way I needed it.

I have recently purchased studio 12 ultimate, and after I downloaded the program it took 4 hours to load, I then found I had to purchase more attachments, so I purchased HFX Volumes 1 & 2, but when they sent me the activating code, it did nothing, my effects are the same I can't find HFX anywhere in the menu, and this is after spending around $400.00 on the program, and all attachments I try to contact someone but the service is another issue, as I can't find any number to call. where do you find the HFX volumes to use them ?

If you have HFX, here's where to locate them. Click on the lightning icon to display the transitions album, click on the drop down arrow in the box at the top of the album window, the HFX selections should show up.

Don
