Hope this message finds you well.

 I get a, "PMCloader.exe error" whenever I try to install "TVCenter Pro."

I have a PCTV HD Ultimate Stick(USB).  Am running Win XP SP3 with an ATI all-in-wonder 256 MB PCIe video card.  Have an AMD dual-core processor 4200 MHZ+(2100MHZ each core), with 3 GB of DDR2 memory.

I need to get it working(or not working) in the next seven days or I can no longer return the thing to Circuit City.  Please help.  I've tried all the ideas posted and they have not worked.

Hey, Bill--you probably want to ask about the PCTV installation stuff over here.

This XP install--is it Media Center or "normal" XP?  There is a Media-center-specific installer here...

What version of PMC are you trying to load?  4.98?  Something else?

In the mean time, try adding pmc.exe and PMCloader.exe to your firewall and antivirus software.

I am using the normal XP.  I've tried everything that's been talked about in the Pinnacle Forums and Pinnacle's support, too.   I am trying to use their latest version as per Pinnacle's Website.

My system is as follows:Win XP SP3;AMD Athlon 64 x2  dual-core processor +4200(each core is roughly 2100 MHz);3 GB of DDR2 memory';Nvidia GeForce 8500GT with 1GB video memory.

try adding PMCLoader and PMC.exe to the exceptions list of Windows firewall and your antivirus software. Maybe that would help.
