the ones it finds stinks, im not into house music so they arent my flavor hehe. I am using PCTV-HD PCI card using 4.98 software(just got card today and installed!) I'd really like a way to edit a file and manually input net stations(be it links or otherwise). And if there is a way, could you tell me how and what file(s) to edit? Thanks for your time.

just as an example here: when adding a new address to the interface for net radio I try adding .977 The 80's channel <--- I put that in the name of the channel then below I add the address http://scfire-chi-aa02.stream.aol.com:80/stream/1040 and it shows up ok. I add it to my favorites list and I see it. Ok, i restart teh software just to be sure. Yes its in my net radio favorites, I click it, it seems to try to go to it, and nothing, black screen and no sound. So apparently im guessing it doesnt like that type of address. I have also tried adding 525 Power tracks net radio: address http://64.62.252.136:6670 and it too doesnt work! WTF!? IS this radio app not coded to let you use internet radio? The stock stations it scans that it comes with are horrible. We should be able to add our own.

ok after experimenting with radio addresses it seems it only likes .pls or .m3u formats that i can see.   .asx extension will not work, also the 2 I posted above dont work in their format either.

This format I have working:

WOOT! figured out how to add net address types like this: http://64.62.252.134:6670 you must add /listen.pls  so it looks like this http://64.62.252.134:6670/listen.pls

so now 525 Power Tracks works. Now to try this for .977 The 80's.

 

YES! adding /listen.pls to .977 The 80's works. I guess I solved this one myself. Hope this info works for others too. Cheers.
