I have a pctv usb for recording tv. The software is PCTV Vision 2.76

The recordings for a long time was successfull...

I have a schedule for recording, seperated in 2hour files. 2 days ago, for security reasons, I make an action. After 15 minutes, the pc lock the monitor automatically and a screen saver in on.

From this point, I missed the recordings. The 1st 2h file created but the next ones NO!

And there is another thing. When a recording is on, when I {ctrl+alt+delete} to unlock the screen, then the recording start from the beggining and all the previous minutes gone (missed).... Why is this?

Is there a solution?

I am not faimiliar with this old software but maybe others have used this.

What you can do at the moment is to disable the screensaver and set the power scheme to Always on and all options to Never. Restart.
