What's this Start a New Thread?

Since all of the Threads started in this "Start a New Thread" Forum, have been Moved to their respective Forums, where you can start a New Thread (I think we used to call them Topics in the Old ForumWink), what's the point of having it, in the 1st place??Indifferent

ADDED - Also see my Post in Studio_FAQ Forum.

    Yes

    Hi Peter,

Wholeheartedly agree.  Hopefully these superfluous bits could be junked as part of a broader change, including the reintroduction of a version-based structure, which is apparently under consideration.

The conversation I remember about this section is that it can't be turned off for some reason. (Built into the forum software ?)

Anyhow, we're pulling for you Marc. Hope you find a way to do away with the button. Maybe a little "Pixie Dust" will make it go away. Wink

Re: What's this Start a New Thread?

    Marc,

Try sprinkling that Pixie Dust on the Search engine also.  If I am looking for specific information on something that can only be in Studio, and I ask to search in Studio forums, why do I have to wade through all the other forums just because one word in my query is also in that thread?
