ok when i open studio launcher and go to capture and i have my cords set up i get an error message saying "there is not valid input signal has not been deteched please check the cables" ive checked them several times, and in the blue screen that should have what im capturing in it, it is just a blue screen and i can hear the audio but not see any video..  do i have a problems with my cords. im confused and i cant find this on help. i have vista if thats a problem.

Next make sure that you're patched to 10.8 if not it would be best to install that as Studio 10 will only work in vista with the 10.8 patch. Have you tried other sources? Does this particular source work fine when attached to a TV? What are you capturing from and with what capture device (i.e. Dazzle, 710 USB, Moviebox)?

i believe its vista 64, i have installed the studio 10.8 patch, and the vista patch, and im using a Dazzle platinum.

Oops that could be one reason. Dazzle (the Studio 10 bundles) are not 64bit ready. Could you check if you do have 32bit or 64bit Vista?

The easiest way to check is by:

1. click on Start and Right click on Computer
2. Go to Properties
3. Under System type (if I recall correctly) it should state 32bit or 64bit.

ok i figured it out i have 32 bit i thought i had 64, ummm i figured it out i had an hdtv so i had to change a few things and now it works thank you.
