    missing media

I have a sequence that I cannot export do to a missing media error. I don't need the media as it is no longer being used in the project but I don't know how to get rid of this. It is no longer in my racks and doesn't show on the sequence timeline. Any idea on how I can fix this?

I know this happened to me once but I can't remember what I did to fix it.  I suppose one way to handle it would be to fuse the entire timeline to a new sequence and burn or export from there.

    Dew,

I had the same problem once.  When I expanded the timeline there was a one-frame slice of red.  It never showed until I expanded the timeline to the max.  It turned out to be a disolve that was one frame too long.   It's worth a shot!

    regards,

Check also your timeline properties and see if the quality ranking is set from top to bottom to Low quality, Normal, Normal.
If you change the quality ranking to for example , high, Liquid will look for footage marked as high to render. And if you do not have such footage it will report missing media.
