I have my Profile option set to "Receive Emails - No", yet I still keep getting webboard-generated emails from webboard users.

If you click on the "Contact" button on the right-hand side of webboard links, one of the options in the resulting dropdown is "Send user an email"

I would expect that "Receive Emails" would disable that option.  The "Send user a private message" feature is fine, and should be sufficient...but "Send user an email" should be disabled if the user does not wish to receive forum emails.

IMO, anyhow.

This doesn't bother me a great deal (I'm going to read the messages anyhow), but it's this sort of "but I don't WANT that cluttering up my inbox" behavior that will entice some people to set up a dummy mail account just so they won't be bothered by stuff that they don't want to receive.

It appears, by comparing this webboard's behavior to several other community-server webboards out there, that this webboard is not behaving as-intended with respect to email.  Is this a correct assertion?

My assumption was that the request is related to emails about thread updates/Pinnacle emails
