    Removing Excessive Reverb

On a recent video shot in a classroom with all hard surfaces, the audio track has excessive reverb. It soulds like the speaker is in a barrel. Is there a way to reduce the reverb using any of Studio 11 audio tools? I have Studio Ultimate 11.1.2.5231 with Plus and Bonus DVD. Also have Magix Audio Cleaning Lab 12.0. Any suggestions?

    Re: Removing Excessive Reverb

Excessive reverb ( or echo) is one of the hardest audio flaws to repair - there is certainly nothing in Studio to do it.

I have read somewhere about using a "Expander/gate" which might reduce the quieter decaying echo, but I'd suggest you try an audio forum for more advice. Studio should be able to accept most free VST plug-ins, should you find one.
