I have had Studio for some time and have had good results.
I have just completed 2 projects and created an image of each one. When I then go to burn an image to DVD I get the usual message "Writing disk content..." but then about 3 minutes later I get a message "Burning failed. Please make sure to use empty or erasable disk"

I have been using Verbatim DVD-R and DVD+R which I have used successfully for some time.

I would be grateful for your assistance.

Have you installed any other software recently that may be using the DVD drive? How about Pinnacle's Instant DVD recorder?

No I have not changed anything as I had been too busy working on new Pinnacle Studio projects

What Jeff means is: Pinnacle's InstantDVD Recorder comes with Studio. If you did a "Typical" rather than "Custom Install", Remove it from ADD/REM PROGS. While you are there, also Remove Pinnacle's Mediamanager/Server, if you have it.

I did a standard install when I first installed Studio. As I said it has worked fine until now. I have not changed  anything. Yes I can see that Instand DVD recorder is installed and I have now uninstalled it. The problem is still there. I do not have Pinnacl'e Media Manager installed.

I am aware that others have had problems with Studio when Instant DVD recorder is installed, but I am trying to find out why I cannot burn from Studio and a few weeks ago it was fine.

Of this is still happening, click the settings before you burn and post what you have.

I had a quick look at the Nero info. I got a copy of Nero 8 and found that if I create a DVD movie and just add all the files from my Pinnacle image it will create my DVD. I will certainly try and get Pinnacle to do the burning, but it will be a week or so before I can get to it.Thanks for your help.
