Confused [*-)] Can you rerender a project after a movie has been made?

I am using Studio 9 plus. I created a music video and saved the project. The movie turned out fine but I would like to add my copyright watermark to the scenes.

I opened the studio file and it showed up in my storyboard- great. clicked make movie again but all it does is just say making movie for hours and hours. The project is about 48 mb

I KNOW it didn't take that long the first time. In fact last night when I tried it it just said making movie all night . Clearly its NOT rerendering the movie. Any suggestions as to how I could accomplish this?

I tried even copying what is in the storyboard, opening a new project and pasting into the new storyboard but there is no paste option so that wont' work

Would appreciate ANY ideas . Thanks!

The basic answer is - you can rerender a project as many times as you like.

First suggestion - load the project then delete the auxiliary files (careful, not projects), switch to the time line mode and try rendering again.

Second suggestion - if the render hangs, note where in the time line the cursor has stopped. Abort the render and then look at that area of the time line for gaps. You may have to expand it to frame level granularity to be able to see it.

How to cut and paste - switch to the time line mode and click in the time line.  Press control A to select the entire project then control C to copy it. Now open a new project, click in the time line and press control P to paste it in.  Warning, when I have done this in the past it has resulted in time shifts which required some adjusting.

Let us know how it comes out.

I tried deleting the auxiliary files as you suggested but when I tried to rerender in timeline there is no progress that I can see in make movie. Am I missing something?

And when I copied from the timeline into a new project I didn't seem to have an option to paste when I right clicked my mouse. I am on a mac using parallels. I can't CLICK in the timeline for some erason.

Using Studio 12, I rendered a very short video in all three modes just to see what was different and the only thing that changes is the lower half of the screen which is what I anticipated.  One advantage to the time line mode is that is much easier to see in very fine detail when a render fails. What should happen is that the cursor will move through the time line as Studio is rendering.  If it hangs, you can see precisely where and then look at the area in edit mode.  In your case, it sounds like the render is never starting - ie, the cursor is staying at the start.  If that is true, I would look at the very beginning for problems.

Arghhh! Mac!!!  I have no idea if or how a Mac will emulate PC "functions".  Did you try using the shortcut keys as I described originally?

What do you mean when you say you can't click in the time line?  Move the mouse cursor anywhere in the time line and click the left mouse button to select it.  It will not look any different but suddenly you can paste there.
