This is the first time I'm using any Studio product - I added an iTune song to the music section.  But if I even scroll over it, it says, "Cannot Get Track".  How do I get the track?  How do I insert it into the video I am making?  (I want the song to start playing at the end of the video where I have added some still photos.

Is the Itunes track copy protected?

Studio works best with Wav files. next choice MP3. I'm not even sure if it accepts the apple format, protected or otherwise, so try converting it.

By using Pinnacle's (now Free), File conversion Prog: TRex. You have to Re-Download it every 60 days though. Instructions re: use, in Readme File: http://cdn.pinnaclesys.com/SupportFiles/trex.exe

I think Itunes native format is .acc (an Apple format). ISTR conversion can be done in Itunes itself, if not to wav, then to mp3. the convesion from acc to mp3 will cause some loss of quality.

Better correct myself. S12 should be able to import acc files from itunes - if they have the .m4a extension at least.

Yes, it was purchased online and has DRM protection.  I just purchased TuneClone to convert these files to mp3.  The conversion in iTunes seemed to work, but any idea how to open these converted files in Pinnacle Studio?

Presumably Tuneclone is a software product that illegally removes the DRM from the tracks?

If you can work out where it's put the MP3, then that should import into Studio, assuming it's done it's job correctly....

Better do it in timeline. Sounds like you are doing it in Storyboard. Look at this site also.
