I stumbled across THIS in the knowledge base, the practical upshot of which is that a new version of Studio 12.0.1 has been released to qualify for Vista certification.

The article implies that there are no functional differences, but I thought that anyone who is having installation issues under Vista might be interested.

Forgive me if this has already been posted. As an XP user, I should have no use for it, but just in case I get forced onto Vista before I buy a newer full version of Studio, I though I might as well download it....

Pity there's not an XP installer - that's where I had the problem(s).  S12 installed well on Vista. 

A question about this - the Ultimate downloads don't seem to include the actual ultimate plug-ins. Has the plug-in download already passed certification?
