I have the studio 12 plus.  when i tried to add video to timeline, it would not accept it.  Yet video i took day before was able to be played.  I tried all files, avi files, supported files but no luck.  Kept getting error message, saying file cannot be opened.  Also i would like to know if you can delete the audio from a video. I have Windows Vista. Thank You, Tim

Lock the Video Track (Padlock Icon) / Select Audio / Delete Audio / Unlock Video Track..

What's it's File Type & Source?

Hi the file type is avi.  Although just before the avi some say smov the others dscf.  smov seems to not work. at least i thi k that may be the problem.

Try adding the sample video (ourbackyardcircus.mpg, ourfunvacation.mpg or clowns.mpg) and see if you still get the same error.
