I receive a e-mail promotion from AVID this two days ,it means to encourage  AL users change  using AL to  Avid Media Composer,

the upgrade of AL has been also waited with eager for a long time,I wonder if that AVID will abandon AL?

 

This has been discussed in minute detail on this forum. Liquid will be replaced in about a year with a new product with a new name (currently we are just calling it NexGen). Liquid users have the option until the end of September to switch to Media Composer at a significant price break or wait for NexGen. There is really nothing more to say at this time. There is a video of Jan Piros discussing NexGen at the top of this subforum and lots of speculative threads about it.
