Here is my problem: I am copying my cam corder movies into studio 10 program and I can see the video and hear the audio while it is transfering the data. When I start to edit and play back the copied version stored in studio 10 the video is fine but there is a certain point in the movie when the audio cuts off.  It always seems to happen when there is a scene change.  Can anyone help me with this issue?

4) What are you Capturing, Analogue Video (AV) or Digital Video (DV) ?

5) What is your Capture Device, if AV - What Pinnacle AV/DV converter & from what source,. If DV -  What DV Cam ?

I have been trying to copy over all my old home videos from an 8mm tape.  I can capture the video just fine, but about 25 minutes into it, the video will either overlap (like old chinese voice-overs) or go out completely.  I have tried all sorts of things, from shutting down all operations before I start capture to capturing 25 minutes at a time.  All with no avail.  If someone has had the same trouble and figured it out, I would really appreciate it.  I would hate to have purchased software/hardware that does this for me and then have to send off all my tapes and pay to have them transferred!

Setup then Capture source. Check the VCR input box. Connect the 500 USB at the back ports and disconnect other big USB devices like printers.
