I am new to video editing and I was wondering if any HD guru's out there have any thoughts or experience on the following: 1) editing HDV video with S11 and then making a AVCHD movie to regular DVD-R and played back on a Blue Ray player. In my case it seems that the quality is not as good as when I play the tape directly from my camcorder to a HD plasma TV, and 2) Same problem when I do a slide show with large digital still files it does not show high quality pictures on the palsma. Definitely NOT HD!
It might be something I'm not doing. I would appreciate any comments from the very knowledgeable folks in this forum.
