Hello all, I'm a first time poster here but I have been using my Pinnacle products for 2 years now when I bought Dazzle Studio Creator Platinum.
Here's my problem: I recently got a new computer running on Windows Vista (64bit) and I wanted to install my version of Studio on it. My store bought version of Studio is 10.5.3 and I later upgraded to Studio 10 Plus. I read the knowledge base and followed these instructions:
4) You have any version of Studio 10
(Standard) (10.0, 10.1, and 10.5) and you want to install the software
under Microsoft Vista
- Please download the Studio Vista installer (1.4GB)
- Double-click on the downloaded file to extract the files. By
default, installation files will be copied to
"C:\Studio_Vista_Installer"
- Go to "C:\Studio_Vista_Installer" and double-click on Setup.exe to start the installation
- Don't forget to install the Studio 10.8 patch available from here to complete the Vista compatibility.

After initiating Setup.exe I eventually get to the registration part of the process. Upon entering my Serial Number I get "The Serial Number is not valid". What could I be doing wrong? I quadruple checked every single letter.
Also, I might as well ask another question I have since I'm here. I was looking at the Studio & Dazzle Hardware Drivers (Vista) page and noticed that there weren't any drivers for Windows Vista (64bit) for every Dazzle. Does that mean that my Dazzle will be incompatible with my computer regardless whether I get Studio to work on it or not?
BIG THANKS in advance for anyone who will share their knowledge. Studio+Dazzle is pretty much the biggest reason why I use my computer and now all my excitement for having a new computer has turned into disappointment because it's not working and all my current projects with Studio are on hold at the moment. Please help!
::EDIT::
I now realise that this might have been better off in the Studio - Installation & Setup section. Very sorry about this.
