Hello,

Can I just purchase the upgrade to go from 10.7 to Ultimate 11, or do i need to buy the full version? I received Studio 10.5 with my Dazzle Platinum purchase back in December '06, and patched to 10.7 a few months after. I haven't really used the software much, but just bought a new laptop and want to have Studio 11 Ultimate.

The best and cheapest way to go is buying the Studio Ultimate Version 11 Upgrade (this includes Studio 11 Plus Upgrade). It may get confusing when you head down to the Upgrades page. There are two ways to get Studio 11 upgrade, 1.) is by acquiring the Studio Plus version 11 upgrade and 2.) through Studio Ultimate Version 11 Upgrade (this includes Studio 11 Plus Upgrade and the Ultimate disc).

Both can see your Studio 10 Quickstart as a previous full version and can use it to upgrade. But IMHO nothing beats a stand alone hard copy of the full version, no upgrade head aches to worry about, just a straight install will do the trick.

I appreciate the quick response, but is it really worth paying twice the price (129.99 vs. 59.99), for the full version, as opposed to the upgrade? Isn't the purpose of an upgrade from a previous version to add all of the components and files of the full version? I really appreciate the info!!

Well if you have 10.7 QS and you wish to upgrade to Studio 11 Plus with Ultimate upgrade (you'll need 11 Plus for Ultimate to work) that will be $59.99. Studio 11 Plus upgrade alone is 29.99 and Ultimate upgrade alone (requires you to have 11 Plus installed is 29.99).
