I understand that this is not officially supported, but from googling around I've seen some information that seems to indicate that it is possible to stream video from the PCTV To Go (and HAVA) devices over RTSP. Port 554 is open on my device, but when I connect with VLC nothing happens. As mentioned on some ot the other pages I've found, I tried address like rtsp://<ip address> and rtsp://<ip address>/<channel> to no avail.

 Is there some magic needed to get this to work. This is with the lastest firmware associated with the 1.7 release, and everything works fine using the Windows applications. I'm primarily interested so I can watch on my Linux box though.

 I also wanted to open an rtsp stream using VLC in linux and I couldn't get it to work with the most recent firmware from Pinnacle.  Then I tried the 152115 firmware from the myhava (http://www.myhava.com/support_downloads_hava.html) which worked for me.

 Which version of Hava matches with the PCTV TO GO Wireless HD ? There is a new software available for hava (1.7.4). Did you try to use that for PCTV to go ?

 I haven't tried the most recent HAVA firmware.

I loaded the firmware "HAVA Firmware version 152115"  - (November 30, 2007), to get to that version you now have to click on the "To access previous versions, go here" link at the bottom of the http://www.myhava.com/support_downloads_hava.html page.  I get a warning when I start the PCTV to go player telling me that I'm not running the most recent firmware that I ignore.
