    Movie [~] Web reels

    Hi folks,

I've noticed that many of you have web sites with your work. We'd liek to get a flavor of what everybody is producing. If you'd be interested in strutting your stuff could you send me your URLs?

    Re: Web reels

I film and editing all kinds of things. I am borderline hobbies who occassionally films a couple pay gigs as well.

Sample DVD Preview for a local Cheer competition I fild annually. It highlights three years worth of this competition in one video. I usually use 3 cameras with this 10 hour shoot amounting to 30 hours of multi cam footage I edit and author start to finish in Liquid:

     http://www.pqsports.dyndns.org/PalomarConference/PalomarConferenceHiRes.wmv

On the more hobby side, I coach and manag youth softball, typically 12 and 14U girls softball. So I like to film there batting and pitching so they can see it. I use Liquid for this as well. I usually end up filming my kids sports through the season as well and make banquet videos for Water polo, Softball and just fun stuff. You can browse my web page for some samples of this.

Liquid is for everyone from beginer to advance, I was always told I pushed studio to limits that most would not. Now I like to think I am right at home with Liquid, just as long as my authored DVDs work as they should. My last shoot was a multi cam shoot with I did of my rec. softball team just a couple of weeks ago. One cam mounted behind the backstop, one in the dug out shooting the batters and a parent filming with my 3rd HD cam. It was a fun shoot and a sweet win against one of the 1st place teams.

    Hi Jan,

I'm a videographer, since 1988 - now mainly in the bridal industry.

I've been using Liquid since Edition 5.5 and before that - Fast Video Machine & D/DPRI also do other smaller / simple commercial work, but for now - here is the link to my weddings sample page: http://www.wedonvideo.co.za/sample-videos.htm

I hope this is what you are wanting to look at.

    Jan,

Most of the work on my demos was created in Liquid (Blue) and After Effects. The wedding section was created in Liquid.

I've got five short films that I'm just finishing. At the moment they are password-protected. I'm sending the urls and passwords directly to you.

I'd just like to say that I find the storyboard tool invaluable and I hope it will be included in Next Gen.

    Thanks.

(for some reason the forum software doesn't seem to want to see this url as a link - please copy and paste)

    Re: Web reels

These each show a slightly different facet of what I use Liquid for.

The car videos with the data overlays on the screen use the matte track as well as the timewarp effect to keep the data and video in sync. This is due to a problem with Liquid incorrectly calculating the frame rate of my video.

    Re: Web reels

Jan when you say "I have  rec'd a lot of video reel links." what do you mean?  Are you going to do something with all the links or do you just want to see everyones videos?

    My site is http://www.ludwigproductions.com

The site is currently being remodeled.  For now the videos point to youtube but I just purchased Wildform Flair to be able to encode the videos to flash myself.  I am now sending my webmaster flash video files which look a lot better.

    Re: Web reels

Jan Piros, who is responsible for development of the replacement for Liquid (NexGen) is looking to see how we use Liquid. I assume he wants to see this so he can make sure that the feature set of NexGen will support the current Liquid users and how they currently use the program.

    Re: Web reels

For those that mentioned, my site has been cleaned. That is the danger of producing such politically "HOT" videos, I got hacked by Anti-TIbet protesters.
