As they reached for my pinky, I quickly learned "Quisiera una margarita, por favor" Wink.  No pain!
I'm going to start practicing now,  "Quisiera una Corona, por favor" . Stick out tongue

Looks like you had a good time. The place you stayed had activities around every corner, I'm surprised that you came back. I guess it took a little bit of "tempering" for you, coming from the "Sand and Sun" back into the "Freezer". How is that "Artic Air" feeling right now ?

As you might expect, it sucks. Crying

Well............on one of our previous trips, Pat did say, "Once I would like to come down here and stay until I got tired of it.  Just to see how long it would take." Hmm  (she's the one on the dance lesson clip wearing the tan t-shirt and blue skirt)

And you're the one at the bar with the lampshade on your head ?

Nah.  That would have been the year we were there on my 50th birthday.Party!!!

Couldn't even look at alcohol for the next two days.  That tequilla is nasty stuff when taken in excess. Ick!  I've managed to control myself since then (somewhat). Wink

    Re: Thanksgiving in Cancun

You folks are hard to keep up with. Starting to feel like an MSN Chat Room. I never could keep up there either ....... Cool

Anyhow ... Hiya Mike and Hiya Dave and Hiya Pat and Hiya all ....... Haven't been keeping up with all the activity in here since the weekend. It appears to me that we stayed in place that didn't have half the activity that surrounded you all in Tulum. Between all those activities don't know how you got anything to drink at all. So as I ponder our trip in November. it's no wonder we got a little "mixed up" so to speak. Seems like our little trio became the entertainment while we were there. Hell, we had to make our own. I didn't spend my 50th birthday there but did go down 10 years ago at age 50 and REALLY overdid it myself so I know the feeling. So at 60 now I pace myself a little more.

Anyway, we loved watching the video and the place looks absolutely beautiful. That scene at night on the beach with the campfire looked like so much fun. I bet between the sounds of waves breaking and the music in the background it was a terrific experience. I'm getting real itchy now to go again. Paradise

The other thing I'd like to say is you guys are a fun folks and I enjoy the banter back and forth. My wife Dena asks every weekend if I've heard from any of those "Pinnacle People" in the forum .... Pinnacle People ???? It does crack me up.

    Talk at ya'll later

    Jul

PS ... gonna look into this YouTube thing as well. I notice a few folks use that to upload their respective videos. As we used to say in the chat rooms TTFN

Me neither, so I signed up here! Stick out tongue

The way I see it, a little "Banter" every once in a while doesn't hurt as long as it's in good spirit. And this thread is all about "Spirits", right ? Cool If I could find my pictures from Acapulco, I would add them to this thread. I'm still looking......Confused I think my wife hid them till the kids are gone.

Well I'd keep Acapulco hidden until all the kids are out of the house. We showed ours to son number 1 and girlfreind a few nights ago. Never thought I'd see 30 year olds blush at the sight of their parents leeting their guard down a little. Now wifey's new concern is somehow someone visiting the Pinnacle site and see us there. Keep telling her it was an art film we made !! I told her the only people viewing it would be those artsy Pinnacle People anyway !!

Well it's been a while since I've been at the Pinnacle Forums. Looks like you guys had a blast there as well. Certainly you guys had a little larger group. I loved the Parnassus and we all feel like they treated us wonderfully. Our best times were at the Tiki bar and I will never forget that place. You guys took great pics and you should do some sort of slideshow with them if you haven't already. At any rate, thanks for taking the time to take a look at our feeble attempt to capture a few memories. We are next going to Ixtapa on the other side. we've never been so it will be interesting to experience that. we have to fend for ourselves as it willnot be all inclusive. That'll be a first for us. We are going with the same ladyfriend and one of her frinds aswell and they have both been there before. So we have a our own persnal tour guides. Hopefully we can get another video going when we get back. Thanks again ....

I don't think so!  I tried the darts.  They play the game where you have to get a score higher than the person that follows you or you get a strike.  Three strikes and you're out.  Last one standing wins.

Lucky me, I was followed by a nice young lady from England.Cool  I got three strikes in four tries.Embarrassed

Nice piece Longball!! I really enjoyed it, not as much as being there, but time permitting. You told a very nice story with your pics, and a little help from Kenny C. playing background music for you didn't hurt a bit. Dang, I gotta find a better travel agent, and I have a sudden urge to call the wife....

    Cheers

Thanks Doc P and glad you enjoyed the piece. We have another trip planned in early April and hopefully have another trip to share. So the 3 of us will head over to Zihuatanejo and see what that side is all about. We've never been there. Mr Chesney was a logical choice at the time and the girls really wanted his music to tell our little story. Good luck in your search for the travel agent. Thanks again for taking a look ...
