software constantly chnges!

i have both 24 and 25 on the computer. 

i tried to load 2 pics to the forum.

 

book pic has an arrow saying to add to the timeline.

24 software it is not there.

any ideas anyone

well the forum thing says to opload file under options.

did so but it replaced the other image

The Send to timeline arrow appears only if an asset is selected into the library. Is it the case in your situation ?

I think you will answer "Yes" because I see the V and A icons that only appears if something is selected in library.

Does the B key shortcut work ?

What version of Studio do you have, Standard, Plus or Ultimate? That must be the Source window as the A and V symbols are showing, and something must be selected otherwise it would not say "Nothing Selected". The last time I looked the Send to arrow was in all versions, but it may have been removed in a patch in Standard.

Can you drag and drop the clip to the timeline?

A - the Arrow has appeared.

B - If it hasn't, if you have the Ultimate, Plus or Standard version of Studio.

C - If it has, what did you change that might have prompted the appearence.

This forum thing isn't a one way street and none of us are mind readers -)

My crystal ball is not back from repair. I would like to know if our answers helped you to solve your issue. 

I have just started learning the software so the names for things are unknown to me so far.

the explanations given here make sense een though i do not understand them

 i have the ultimate version

I now know enough to plow on and continue trying to slowly learn the product.
