I'm having problems with multicam capture again, I noticed that with the recent reinstalls i've done on both machines that I've lost access to my fully paid versions, so tried to do a restore purchased content, which gave me access to the installer, however when itry to run it i get the attached message, anyone any ideas on what i can try,

Yann, I'm running  PS24.1.0.260 patch, or do you mean that  PS24.1.0.260 patch PS24.1.0.260 patch is the cause in which case I'll try and install without the patch by doing a custom install and then get multicam up and running

No, it should work with this patch.

The bug description, acknowledged by Corel was : "PS will always open MCC Lite, if it is present.
If MCC Lite is removed, then MCC full installed, only then will PS launch full."

This is part of the fix list of PS24.1.0.260.

Yeah Yann, this isn't that bug, this is the installer for the full version of MultiCam capture telling me there isn't a compatible version of Studio on my system, therefore it wont install the full version, this is happening on both my desktop and my laptop.

Due to the problems i was having with preview of H.264 on the desktop, I've actually uninstalled Studio, so what I'll do is do a custom install on there without the PS24.1.0.260 patch and then see if i can get the full version to install, and also check what preview is like of the H.264 before I install the patch

That didn'nt work so been doing some searching on the web and this seems to be a fairly well known problem not just for Pinnacle Studio but also Corel Video Studio going back to 2019 as can be seen from the corel forum, I wonder if Nick can cast any light on this

Open PS24. It should automatically search for and install the new patch.

MCE Light?  Is this something that PS23U has or does PS23U have the full MCE instead of the light version?  And how can I tell if it's Full vs Light?

The light version is installed in PS23 and PS24.

Difference between light and full is mainly the number of sources they can handle.

With Light it's the screen of the PC + 1 webcam. With Full it can handle some extras cameras (4 IIRC).
