I just got a new PC (desktop), my old one crashed and burned (figuratively). I successfully reloaded Ultimate 24 from the box (after many, many tries, removals, repairs, etc.) My problem is this; I do not have any sound effects and most of my HFX transitions are missing, I am not too worried about the transitions because I generally make my own or use Adorage. I'm not too fussy with most of my productions. You don't see them on You Tube or network TV. I do, however spice up some work with sound effects. I would appreciate any help I can get. I've been around since Studio 8 and will probably stick with Pinnacle, but I would like to get what I paid for. Thanks again for any help I can get.

There are a few things that you can try, if everything was properly installed in the first place.

Have you tried  Control Panel>Reset?

You can also rename the Studio folder in this location: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Pinnacle_Studio_24  to something else and let PS rebuild.

Let us know if it works.

Well, I tried the reset...and got the transitions LOL. Tried it again, same thing . Going to try and rename the file...I'll let you know what happens.

Unfortunately the rename didn't work either. Looks like another repair ??

Looks like some files are actually missing.

Try to reinstall Standard content and Bonus Content.
