There is an overwhelming amount of effects in Pinnacle Studio but what I have noticed is that many of these effects are actually just presets of one main effect. Is there a way of hiding/deleting these presets since I can always select them once I moved the effect onto the timeline. If not, I guess my only alternative is to move the main effects into Favorites or a Collection or maybe assigning them a 5 star rating and sort by rating. How do others manage all these effects?  

They can't be hidden in PS23. They can be grouped in a single thumbnail in PS24 and later ungrouped.
