    Trying to use Avid Studio

    Had a major crash and after I did recovery, I can't seem to find the avid studio exe to start the avid software (it's still in the hard drive, but no way to run it).  can't find any exe to run the software - and because it's discontinued, I'm at my wit's end. Have been trying to download just the avid studio exe - but you know how that goes - malware everywhere.  Anywhere I can go to get that file? I can't seem to find the original Avid Studio DVD - can anyone help?  When I look for the Avid Studio software, it seems to be there, my files are there, but I can't open them until I figure out how to open Avid.  Thanks in advance. RM

    What do you mean by "no way to run it"? There are no shortcuts anywhere? Or when you click on one nothing happens? Because if its the latter there may be a simple solution.

    Welcome to the Forum Smile

    1) Follow the File Path for W7 underlined in red in my Screenshot.

    2) I no longer have Avid Studio. So for Studio 16,  read;  Avid Studio.

    3) Right-Click on AvidStudio.EXE / Create (Desktop) Shortcut, to Launch the Program from there.

    4) Also - Double-Clicking on AvidStudio.EXE Launches the Program .

    Screenshot ( Click on it, to Open it in a New Window & Expand it , to view);
