Editing 3d video for LG passive 3d tv

    Hey guys,

I'd like to make 3d videos with Pinnacle Studio Plus 16.  Panasonic camera does mts formats. I'd like to make 3d videos to watch on lg passive tv.

I tried to do it, but it was not good on the tv. I do not understand what 50 or 100 %, crossed eye, anaglyph means.

I cannot export to disc (blue ray), i export to file, put the movie on a pendrive and watch on tv.

Your suggestions would be very much appreciated.

    Thanks, George

    Hello
I read your response late and I apologize .

    Regarding the 3D playback formats

Anaglyph - 2 superimposed images. Blue and red. A look good with glasses Blue and red market. Single file as a 2D file and pass on any hardware. The quality is bad at colors. This is the oldest 3D system.
Side by Side - Image side by side as the name suggests .
2 sizes : 50% - the image left and right is compressed to fit into a 1920x1080 HD format is 2x (960 ) x1080 - This is the format used by all TV - Simply select the 3D TV remote - Side by Side. If you want to read this file to a 3D TV using a USB key - Select the standard MP4 - 3D - 50%.
No rendering problem with Studio 16 and 17.

100% is a file Side by Side 2 images 3840x1080 or 1920x1080 side by side .
Can not be read by 3D TV in 3D.
This is the ideal file for archiving

Side by Syde Cross - Little used except photography. To view this file , no need glasses just squint (I do not do it ) .

Another type of file is the Multiflux (MVC) . In contener 2 1920x1080 1920x1080 files are placed . This is the format used by Sony ( TD10E ) and JVC . and...blu ray 3D. This format is compatible 2D 3D
