Instant DVD Recorder crashes after copying video (Dazzle DVC100, Win 7 64-bit)

I've been using Instant DVD Recorder successfully, but it's now started crashing at the end of the process of copying the video. It's crashed on both burning to DVD and burning to the hard drive.

I'm connected to a DVC100 on a Windows 7 64-bit computer. It records 60 minutes on Best quality, then crashes while preparing the files.  It may be crashing while trying to create the menu.  Once I switch to the hard drive, my VIDEO_TS folder has the VOB files, so I guess it finished copying then crashed.

I created several DVDs before it crashed. If I try to create a small test recording to the hard drive with a menu, it doesn't crash.  It's frustrating to run for an hour not knowing whether it will crash.

I'm using version 2.6.116.0, which seems to be the latest. Is there something else I can do?

    Thanks,

    Bob

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program?

That seems to have worked, at least so far.

    Thanks!

I'm glad it is already working now.

     Thanks
